Elite D's don't give up a 17 pt. lead even with a BevellFS offense. The elite train passed after the '13 Championship.

Average D with flashes of greatness... That is what the Hawks are today.

Lots of players got paid and/or are bitching about getting paid now. The last 3 years, Earl and Kam used to celebrate every hit like it won them the game. Now they are bitching at each other over blown coverages. Sherman seems like he is just going through the motions. I MISS MY HAWKS!!!

Really though, defense is a young man's game. Seahawks are old by NFL standards, and they aren't fighting for their roster spots anymore.

I predominately blame the offense but the defense has given up 88 points in 3 road games, they are far from the elite unit they were in 2013 and for parts of 2014

Might as well trade Graham mid season to someone to try and get some draft picks for O linemen as well since I can barely remember he is even on our team.

With Graham's money they could have kept Unger, signed Evan Mathis, and drafted someone (OL?) in the first round. Sure today we would be complaining about our shitty receiver corps, but in hindsight I wish we had this one back.
It's only a bad trade because bevell is making it a bad trade.

Bevell and Russell are looking when sark finds a Handel of tequila hidden in the corner of an out of reach cupboard left of the stove.

Pete Carroll's coach speak is sounding worse and worse. Some gems from his press conference:

    - What a great game, so exciting. We're really close guys.
    - I have no idea what happened in the 4th quarter
    - Sometimes, that's just football (Lloyd McClendon says hi)

Remember when Pete ran a fake punt up 50-10 against Buffalo? Those were the days. Now, they look like a John Fox coached team terrified to lose. I wonder if the Superbowl fucked Carroll.

Carroll will always stay positive. He knows it's a long season and that the Seahawks still have a lot of talent. The way they blew the game fucking sucked and was inexcusable, but they get Carolina at home, then @SF and @Dal.

It's not time to panic yet. Get to 5-3 at the midpoint and then a huge home game against the Cardinals.

They can't be scared and try to protect Wilson. That offense only goes when he is on the move. He is a standing target in the pocket.

At some point you have to get first downs and bleed the clock when you have a lead if you can't score more points.

it is a long season and at some point you have to win play off games on the road if you want to be a great team and a dynasty. Nobody remembers September or October games.
