University of Washington students burned couches as more than 1,000 people gathered during a Tuesday morning confrontation with police on Frat Row. The incident started after a downed tree cut power to parts of the University District, including most fraternities.
As one couch burned, students chanted “Go Huskies!”
The Seattle Fire Department sent three units to the intersection of 17th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 47th Street by 12:20 a.m.
Seattle police teamed with UW police and made announcements that the crowd had five minutes to leave. Students booed them, chanted for more couches to be burned, and one man ran naked, getting high-fives.
No injuries were reported, and the couch fires were quickly extinguished.

Sad part is UW students will riot if we win and they know about 1% of the true depth of pain that HHBs feel after 11 years. Then again, after 5 years we all started to secretly enjoy it.
