Finally saw the replay, looked painful. His foot was planted and then the DT hit with all his pressure right on the knee.

I like that you guys are scouting our opposition for next week, but you really should be watching the SEC GotW.

USCe v UGA hasn't kicked off yet.

As for Florida, Muschamp probably sucks.

We should beat Illinois, and I will be pissed if that doesn't happen. That said, I'm not going to expect a Sark led team to blow someone out on the road until I see it. After we blow out Boise we ignore four years worth of sucking on the road? Fuck, does everyone forget Cal, Colorado, and WSU last year? I doubt Illinois is as bad as those teams were.

Looking forward to the real GotW.

As for the fake GotW.... Florida pissed that game away.

I absolutely haven't forgotten those games, but I think the team should be more confident now than they were at any point last year. I think having two weeks of the coaches harping on everything they did wrong against BSU will be a good thing too. Also, the way Illinois played today should give the coaches more ammo to combat overconfidence. After watching that game, it's pretty clear that Illinois doesn't have anything close to the athletes UW has. Also, it's entirely possible that UW and UI will have a similar number of fans at the game. If UW is going to win 9 or 10 games this year, they need to go dominate the Illini. I expect that to happen, and anything else will piss me the fuck off.

Just a FYI, we beat Colorado in Boulder 38-3 last year.

After a 7-0 first half that was some of the worst football I've ever seen.

I must of repressed it, I can't remember the first half.

That game was embarrassing. Terrible football on both sides. I'd rather watch Pop-Warner. Please don't bring it up as I made the mistake of taking the wife to that game.

  • I can totally see UW getting off to a slow start and pulling away in the second half. Then in the post game Sark and the players saying "We were just too overconfident and we need to learn how to be a great team still".

    Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Colorado doesn't have a turrible blick coach now.

Not to mention UW was only up 7-0 in the first half. I think the Illinois game will be similar.

If you can't beat mediocre Big 10-11-12-14 in a neutral stadium, gtfo

If UW loses you'll hear "To expect to beat a team who recently went to a rose bowl in their house after 0-12 is just unrealistic. Some of guys have an obvious agenda against Sark and just want him to fail so you can say you are right."

Most doogs will be pissed, especially because they think we are close to being a true power. Of course, there will be a few who say,"you can't fire the coach every time he loses a game he should have won. Don James lost to Oregon State!"

Kim, Dick Baird, perhaps F3, Softy will be saying that for sure.

You are right though I think even the Doogs would finally say enough is enough.

Only the hardcore Doogs Will make excuses if they lose, so I concur. I think 95 percent of the fan base will be pissed with 7-5 again, which will look likely if they lose.

The fact that this is a road game, Illinois may as well be ASU, AZ, or UCLA. A road game is to Sark what Kryptonite is to Superman.
