Expect Sark to take a hard line with recruits this year

Don't be surprised if some of these guys taking visits get their offers pulled. Sark will not be jerked around by wishy washy recruits.

Meanwhile in a place called reality, all but 3 of our commits have said publicly they will take trips and our list of quality recruits we have a chance with is dwindling by the day

Have you seen stanford's list of verbal commits? I suggest you sit down before doing so. Pretty damn impressive.

If I know Kim, and sadly I do, he is over on Doogfarm preaching patience and saying how early it is...hold on for a wild ride...calm before the storm...we are in on secret verbals from Tibet nobody has even heard of...it's a slow season now, but you just wait until Jan...etc...

I thought the secret verbal was an Oregon thing.

Or are they the "double secret verbal"?

    Recruiting can be so confusing.

It was reported here, on HH, that last year Kim and the crew of retards were saying we had guys all lined up, and they were signed sealed and delivered but they just didn't want it out...aka secret verbal....and then none of those guys came here. Go fucking figure. Perhaps I got bad info and Kim was on the up and up about this last year.

    I doubt it.

Lots of kids seem to be doing the secret verbal thing - Oregon tends to let kids take their trips even if they are committed, some kids we have gotten from Texas and Florida (and I think even WA) don't want their verbals announced to us announced publically since they get harrassed by people like F3 and Ektard. Also, they love to play the hat game in their Signing Day press conferences.

No kidding. Kim's line of b.s. is getting harder and harder to stomach.......

If true, a bit of a risky strategy. Kinda puts it all on the line for how we do on the field this year.....

I think it is better to let a kid take his trips and know that he wants to commit to your school rather than demand a committment early if that isn't what the kid wants to do. YMMV.

Arizona already has 24 commits. Though most are 3* with a few 4* and a handful of JC 2*.

All you have to say is "awfully warm for February" which is their go to line when recruiting isn't going well.

Now if UW had signed a bunch of kids they'd tell you that if a kid commits this early he never decommits.

Who was the 'tard I got into that over there after the St. Tosh Day Massacre or whatever they called it? I threw that back "awfully warm line" back to him and he goes on and on about how early commits rarely decommit. Of course, I provided him with examples where early recruits have changed their minds, and like clock work, some of them decommited. How many, 3 or 4?

Its funny how all the dogs went nuts about that Tosh Day Massacre crap and 4 of the kids who committed didn't end up at UW (including the 2 best ones)
