Oregon is not going to disappear over night for the reasons mentioned. Even at UW with no Phil Knight and an administration that actively hated and hates football it took 10-12 years for the first 1-10 to show up. There was one last Rose Bowl win 8 years after James and they contended most of the 90's.

Agree Oregon won't disappear, but they will fall back to ASU/UCLA levels. Consistent top 10 - 20 seasons with upside beyond that occasionally, not a consistent top5 anymore. Their talent isn't incredible, their system isn't unique anymore under an average head coach whose staff is fraying significantly.
Too early to say one way or the other. They could turn things around, or at least stabilize in the upper third of the conference, but they don't look like a very good team right now. Depth has been less than stellar the past few years, and bigger programs with better recruiting have struggled to remain relevant for long periods of time. We'll see.

I'm not sure wtf you're talking about. Depth has not been a problem until this year. One could could argue they've been the deepest team in the league for years.

    You're FS though, so...

Yeah it's great to see Oregon start slipping because IMHO their fans never deserved someone like Chip Kelly. I'm curious to see how fair-weather their fans will be if things get ugly (like losing to Washington in a couple of weeks).

Oregon will be irrelevant in six months outside of the NW if not sooner.

I've already seen the bandwagon fans around here quit wearing their gear. This is Pac 12 cuntry. In Texas and the South, there are easily half a dozen programs more relevant. They aren't going t get four and five stars from there anymore.

They might be able to maintain Bellotti like 5-8 win seasons, but the top ten shit is over for a while. Sit back, relax, and enjoy watching Autism Stadium 60% full again like the good ol days.

    full doog delusion. carry on.

PS: the texas relevance part gave you away. the south, yes. texas? no. I could argue there isn't one more relevant.
