I'll be honest...I own a PS4 and used to be anti-PC because of the annoying fan boys who pretend like they can notice the difference between 55 and 60fps. And while they're still really fucking annoying, I recently had an extra i5 chip laying around and ample storage so decided to buy a motherboard for $60, a case for $50, power supply for $40 and a couple fans. Then I splurged on a graphics card and it does blow PS4/xbone out of the water, especially running at 4k. I find it funny they just came out with a Dishonored Definitive Edition for $50, when you can just buy it for PC for $5 with better graphics. Same with Payday 2, among others. Bought a nba2k16 key for $25.

Though I can definitely see the appeal of a console if you're lazy and just want to plug and play.
