I'm not happy with what I've seen so far and TSIO but then again, TSWO when Ross went down, a true frosh was named starting qb, and 3 freshmen were made starters on the O-Line. Peterman has made it abundantly clear that he wants almost nothing to do with most of Sark's players
In a couple years, which damn well better be special, we'll have something resembling this:
QB Browning - Jr RB Gaskin - Jr WR Lenius - Sr WR Pettis - Sr WR Ross - RS Sr WR Renfro - Jr WR McClatcher LT Adams - Jr LG Shelton - RS Sr C Crane (maybe)- RS Sr RG Sosebee - RS Jr RT McGary - RS Jr TE Ajamu - RS Sr
NT Qualls - RS Sr DE Dissly - Sr DE String - RS Jr ?? Potaoe - RS Soph LB Bartlett - Jr LB Victor - RS Sr LB Bierria - RS Sr CB Jones - Sr CB Gardenhire - Sr S Baker - Sr S McIntosh - Sr
OC Not Babushka
That should be the top defense in the conference and an offense that is at least as good as the Cal team we saw on Saturday.
If, at that point, we are not winning the conference, then go ahead and light Peterman on fire and piss on him to put it out (but not right away).
In the meantime, he's made it abundantly clear that he wants nothing to do with Sark's players and system (for the most part). After treading water and dealing with what he was stuck with last year, he's essentially starting over this year.
It's not looking good so far but I'm not ready to say Petersen isn't the guy yet.
Petermen still has potential to be the guy but only if he can make fucking decisions BEFORE he has to. A good CEO doesn't wait until disaster strikes to deal with a pending disaster.
