    Meh.

    Context matters.

Petersen was @ Husky Stadium in 2007 with a rebuilding team after that amazing win against Oklahoma. It ended up being one of his worst seasons at BSU (10-3) and his QB was Taylor Tharp (Taylor who? Exactly).

Petersen beat Sarkisian on a neutral field but then was slaughtered with a rebuilding team in 2013 @ Husky Stadium (his worst team at BSU). That 2013 team turned into a very good 2014 team that Harsin enjoyed inheriting.

OTOH, Petersen kicked Chip Kelly's ass in Eugene (was up 37-13 going into the 4th quarter) and then embarrassed him in BSU.

Petersen is 2-0 vs. Chip and played against him with much less talent.

UW can make a big jump next year... If peterman makes the necessary changes (New WR coach, New OC).

Stanford loses a shit ton, Cal will lose Goff, Oregon is declining, WSU is WSU, OSU is OSU. We can win the North easily next year if we pick our shit up on offense. This shit is urgent. FUCK.

Does the necessary change involve Peterman bringing in Chip and then firing himself? If yes, I agree.
This is just as dumb as the posters saying CP sucks because he is 0-1 vs. Ty and 1-1 vs. Sark.
Yes, context matters. Any sample of two games is not enough context to matter.

Well we were really talking about a sample size of 5 games because someone else mentioned his games against UW.

The thing about CFB is that basement dwelling analysts often have to operate in a limited sample environment since teams play less games than any other major sport....even more limited sample sizes against the same OOC opponent over the years.

I've been saying they were going to suck and come back to the pack (Pac?) since Kenny Wheaton was at the 45 yard line. I like to be right.

    All of this is true.

I'm still taking Chip Kelly over Chris Petersen wiff a bullet, despite Petersen's head to head success.

Calling bullshit. What the fuck has Chip done without Uncle Phil???

Not sure on wr coach as he has ZERO to work with right now, OC tbd, and yes this team can win the North next year if the O develops. other than at wr, the pieces are in place.
Pease has nothing to work with? He's working on recruiting class number 3 here...are you waiting for all these smurf turf WRs to hit redshirt Sr year? He has nothing to work with cuz he's a dick..we knew he couldn't recruit before he showed up
