Kim Grinolds on Keith Price

DerekJohnsonDerekJohnson Administrator, Swaye's Wigwam Posts: 63,563 Founders Club
During a phone call, after I said I was looking forward to seeing Price play in 2011, Kim said:

"You can't be serious? Are you serious, DJ? Do you have any idea what the coaches say about Keith Price? I know, because I talk to the coaches and you don't. I hear what they say about Keith Price. There is no way he will ever beat out Nick Montana."

And now Price is the all-time career TD passes leader at UW.

He likes to call you DJ
  • And Kim/staff is still doing what he can to discredit Price at all costs.

I wish I could see all of Kim's sports predictions so I can bet the opposite. I'd never have to work again.

You only point out when Kim is wrong.

He said the new stadium would be great. He was right about that.

Yeah, because he's right so often.

  • Someone did ask why so many fans are so negative about Keith Price. Kim, F3 and Eklunds silence in that thread spoke volumes.

Anyone without an agenda can see Keith Price is slowly going to implode.

Then Kim will have been right. That will teach you all.

between Price and Lockner, most people would say Lockner is the better Husky QB.

    People are fucking dumb

I think it would be fun to compare stats between Jack and Keith so doogs can see how retarded the argument is.

"But Jake won a Holiday Bowl!"

They like to claim that Price has a way better supporting cast than Jake. I've had this argument before.

Doogs ignore facts and logic. Case in point them defending a 11-25 coach.

Price is one of the more accurate passers we have had. As bad as the line was last year I think if they even had something with a pulse opposite Williams his numbers would have been way more respectable.
His biggest problem is when he tries to make something out of nothing. But that is a big strength of his too. Ball security kind of makes or breaks him IMO.
He is so much better than jack it's a joke. I would've loved to have seen jack in a zone read system but as far as reading nd throwing to wrs it's not close.

I have liked Keith Price ever since his first start at Oregon as a RS Frosh. I knew he would be pretty good even with a not so amazing game numbers wise. He looked confident in a pretty hostile environment.

I feel bad that he has a chance to shatter a lot of UW records (which has a pretty decent history when it comes to QBs) yet the only thing most people will remember is his 2012 season. It was disapointing but we could have had Mariotta at QB and same thing would have happened behind that tissue paper OL.

Really hope Keith can keep up the momentum and shut up all the doubters. It has been brutal to hear people beat him up so badly because of mostly the performance of a multi-million dollar head coach.

Well said. At the risk of going full-Doog I think his legacy will be just fine after this season. People will remember him as the guy who bounced back from a slump and finished strong. Think Justin Dentmon.
