I'm surprised that I'm surprised that Seven would say something so fucking stupid ...
I'm also surprised that I'm surprised that even though I know the script as well as any half brain around here, I couldn't pull the trigger on calling the Stanford loss.
The script this week says that Seven loses ... I'm pulling the trigger on saying that he does lose. Of course, Seven will probably find a way to win.
FYFMFE ... in particular Fuck Seven and his Patron buddies.
there's also this tidbit from Gary Klein's column:
"Sarkisian said USC did not platoon against Stanford as much as it did in the first two games because the Cardinal "really taxed us mentally in the game. They gave us just a myriad of personnel groupings, formations. ... They really gave us a lot of stuff to try and make us think.
And we just tried to keep the guys out there that we felt like could do the best of getting aligned, getting assigned and operating fundamentally."
In other words, he didn't have a fucking clue what Shaw was doing against him, so, while using "aligned, assigned and operating fundamentally" to sound smart to the media, he simply put the most talented recruits on the field and hoped they could use their superior athletic ability (as determined by TBS sites), go out there and just rip it...and hopefully win.
From my eye, it wasn't so much the lack of adjustments than USC's front 7 getting demolished. Same thing happened last year against Boston College with a much better front 7 (Leonard Williams). There is only so much you can when your D line is losing every battle against the O line (not that Sark would do anything).
Also, USC abandoning the run that early in the game is so ridiculous and predictable. Their running game is killer. Also it gives me hope that if we can take an early lead over Seven, we actually could have a legit chance in that game.

I can't believe this is serious. Hasn't Stanford run the same offense for the past 8 years? It's not like they came out running the single wing.
I am concerned that Sark will rally the troops with the long layoff and the Dawgs will get absolutely smoked on that Thursday night.
Or he'll give the team a couple days off and bring in Dr Dre to judge the dance contest and the In n Out truck instead of Ivans Advocare training table.

Everybody says so

These sorts of statements crack me up every time, now that he is not the UW coach.
... in order to "coach" his guys to "finish" better, he had some t-shirts made that say "FINISH" on them.
That's coaching right there.

Sark throwing his players under the bus? How can that be?
