Breaking: El Siete asked Tupou to LEAVE!
Story.
#90 has been the target of a lot of ridicule on this bored. I'm happy to see him shine a little as a senior.

On a different note, Jude just had to be an ass and write something shitty like "the icing on the croissant".
On a side note, Choate and Kwiatkowski need raises, their work with the DL has been terrific.
If only Jamaal Jones and James Sample had as much feces in their throats as Tani does...
That being "homesick" or "losing the love of the game" is often a bullshit cover story for Sark math.
Sark feeds it to the LPT. They push the agenda in exchange for access. And the wheel of Sark bullshit rolls on down the road.
He was so used to guys coming in and if they weren't starting by their RSfrosh year they were worthless in his eyes. That makes some sense at USC, but it makes zero sense at UW and 81% of other schools across the nation. He has no idea how to develop talent. I suspect even his great players at USC won't improve much from their freshmen to junior years.
Anyways, yea.
“I used to have a temper when I was a little bit younger. I used to get mad, I used to get defensive, and he told me not to take everything so personal, try to keep your cool with things. … Tani, whether he knows it or not, is one of the biggest parts of my career so far.”
This is why building culture on your football team and recruiting to that culture is so important. Players hold other players up and also hold them to a standard. When that standard becomes winning, it becomes much easier to maintain that standard.
The comparison between the previous and current coaching staff could not be more night and day in this respect.
From what we've heard, Sark would ignore and even publicly ridicule role players and non-superstars. Hence, you get season after season of RS frosh transferring. From this article, we also know he would tell players who committed to his program to LEAVE.
Something that stuck out to me when Petersen took over was a story where one of the starting players called another player by his #, "Hey 25, go get my helmet". Petersen got in the players face and said "He's been on your team for 2 years! He's your brother! Do you even know his name?" When players are indifferent or even spiteful to their teammates they won't play very hard, just go through the motions.
The big wins have to come, but when/if the team gets to that next level, it will be easier to maintain that standard
And if UW wins. Then I'll Doog it the fuck up.
