Byron Maxwell vs. Cary Williams

SEA had some issues on Sunday. But Maxwell's absence didn't really seem to be one of them. Byron, by contrast, had a rough night in ATL, courtesy of Julio Jones.

It's early, obviously. But as has been pointed out here before, Maxwell may be a guy (BB too) who may eventually boomerang back to SEA because he's never able to find as much success in a different scheme.

Trading Maxwell for a 3rd round compensation pick was a great move for the Hooks, but I don't blame Maxwell for getting burnt by Julio. Most cb's would. I think Maxwell will be a solid corner for such fag j's Eagles.

Agree. No shame in getting beat by Julio.

It wasn't just Julio though, 50 year old Roddy White was torching him. Part of the problem is Chip didn't get any safeties to play over the top of him. Big difference when you have Earl watching your back versus whoever the fuck is in Philly. Walter Thurmond is their starting free safety? lol.
