I always wondered what could have been with Sione had he redshirted. Instead Seven ruined him. He ended up hurt defeated and turned into a total bust.

Saw Benning up close at the last scrimmage. Definitely not his brother.

You always want a superstar that forces his way onto the field, but I actually think this kid might be good.

Whatever, Donny Mateaki "passed the eye test" better than anyone, and never materialized.

Hence the reason Benning was smart enough to avoid the sark staff like the plague. The more beef me can redshirt the better.

I have to think Benning insisted on RS'ing, perhaps even when being recruited. By all accounts, Mr. Potato hates Sark and right or wrong, blames him for ruining Sione particularly for throwing him to the wolves when he wasn't ready. When Sark was coach, Benning and family would not consider UW.

Could be wrong and the staff thinks he'd benefit from a RS. But he passes the looks test and Ben Hurr Kirr is playing for fuck's sake. Sounds like a player decision to me.
