Hondo says the Hilary scandals lost steam and don't amount to anything

I've said the "scandals" are bullshit. But a real democrat needs to step up. It's awfully warm for February.

I like Bernie. Not sure he is really electable though. Leading in the polls is different than people getting off their lazy asses and voting. Also not sure he could get his policies enacted... he might have the same problems Carter had... unwilling to compromise with the power brokers in Congress, and so the power brokers in Congress would stall his efforts. Clinton did compromise, which is why so many of his policies were such cluster fucks. Not that different from what a clusterfuck Obama care became due to all of the compromise that Congress (and the insurance company lobby) required.

The interesting thing, is that Bernie and Trump actually agree on some issues, such as single payer healthcare. They probably also agree on stopping US corporations from getting tax breaks while outsourcing jobs.

Trump changed his position on single payer. That was a few weeks ago though.

I think Bernie and Donald are getting a huge bounce because everyone is sick of worthless career politician sell-outs. WIW I guess..

Sanders has been pretty consistent on his views and vision since the 80s. Trump has been a Democrat, Independent, R, Reform Party member...possibly more.

As for compromise, it has to happen. Bigger picture wise, hopefully this surge of populist candidates paves the way for politicians actually doing productive things for their constituency.

Also Bernie would be a coward like Carter was.

Comparing Bernie to the worst president this country has had doesn't say much

Read a history book. Carter is far from the worst president. Not to mention the guy that was in office for 2 unfunded wars and the worst recession since the 30s.

Carter is far from the worst president in history.

And he only lost reelection because Reagan convinced the Iranian hostage takers to hold on to the hostages long enough to help him beat Carter in the election. (if you don't know this, you should probably stick to listening to Rush Limbaugh).
