Historical analysis: Sark's teams after big wins

I put this together not knowing what to expect. I did not include the huge wins over Cal (2009) and Nebraska (2010) because they closed out their respective seasons.
-------------------------

Year Big win following game
2009 USC lost @ Stanford 34-14
2010 @ USC lost at home to ASU 24-14
2010 OSU 2ots lost @ Arizona 44-14
2011 N/A
2012 Stanford lost @ Oregon 52-21
2012 OSU beat Cal 21-13

How will the Dawgs respond this time? Let's see if we can bludgeon Illinois.

The one note about Illinois that most miss is the addition of a late transfer from Okie State at QB. That said, I think UW wins rather easily, say 34-17.

If this team is for real at all, we should beat Illinois by two touchdowns, minimum.
  • Illinois only beat Southern Illinois by 7 at home, though was up by 20 during the game. It was all passing, Illinois only ran for like 50 yards....really struggled on the ground.

Should be a plunger fuck game and hopefully it is over at halftime instead of a 17-10 or 13-3 type score.

Our offense should easily score over 45 on Illinois with no problem. Fuck we should have had 50+ last night had UW not sputtered on those two red zone trips.

Illinois is a terrible team and if UW is for real they'll kick the shit out of this team from the very start. If we are our usual pretender selves we'll let Illinois hang around for a bit like we did against Colorado last year or worse yet just lose to them like we did to WSU last year.
