Understanding the 2015 Squad (class breakdowon)
I think the Boise State game gave us a good example of what to expect of the roster for 2015 considering how close the game was. Of course, more kids will play in games that are blow outs, but this gives you an idea of who Petersen thinks are our best players this year and what we'll be seeing for a majority of the games this season. And of course, this list is barring injuries, suspensions, dismissals, and other absenteeism, so things are bound to change as the year goes on.
Here is a breakdown of the total participation based on the postgame stats:
10 seniors
11 juniors
16 sophomores
17 freshman (9 redshirt, 8 true)
Starters for the offense:
3 seniors
4 juniors
2 sophomores
2 freshman (1 redshirt, 1 true)
Starters for the defense:
4 seniors
1 junior
6 sophomores
0 freshman
In terms of Sark recruits versus Petersen recruits, it's actually pretty even in terms of number of players, which is sad considering that Petersen has only 2 recruiting classes here.
29 Sark recruits (out of 38 on scholarship)
25 Petersen recruits (out of 44 on scholarship) - (out of 29 on scholarship when removing all the true freshman likely to redshirt).

TL/DR: Team is young, 2017 will be special
