It's been trending down for awhile, but there weren't any marquee games today. Michigan and Utah are middle tier teams in their conferences. #2 TCU played a boring game, but at least it was somewhat of a test and not TCU beating Texas State 72-3. Those were the biggest games of the night.
It was Thursday. There were 6-10 games? Plus many teams like to schedule cupcakes or at best medium games the first week.
Buy yeah, I first noticed how bad the OOC games had become about five years ago (for teams outside of the Souf). The best solution is to just not watch these crap games so the ratings plummet. Then the TV money will dry up. I do that to an extent. Will that actually happen? I doubt it, since people watch all these awful bowl games willingly.

So, now, I can't lose.

Back in my day we got 2-3 games a week.
If you got shit, you still appreciated it because you knew you only got to see 12 games a month ... MAX.
Now ... you see 12 games a day.
