Social networking is built right into your Windows Phone—no separate apps required. You can post messages to Facebook, Windows Live, LinkedIn, or Twitter, and comment, like, and retweet to your heart's content. You can also send a quick link from your browser, or check in to share your location with friends.
What's new in People hub
Updates from you and your friends appear in the People Hub
To post a message
When you write a new message, you can post it to Facebook, Windows Live, LinkedIn, Twitter... or all of the above.
On Start, tap Me, and then tap Post a message.
Type your message. If you have more than one social network account set up on your phone, tap Post to, tap each account you want to post to, and then tap DoneDone icon.
Posting message to multiple accounts
Tap Post Post icon.

To comment on a friend's Facebook, LinkedIn, or Windows Live post
You can read comments on your friends' posts or leave a comment yourself.
On Start, tap People People tile, and then flick left or right to What's new to see recent posts from your friends.
When you see a post you want to comment on, tap Comments Comments icon.
In the Add a comment box, type your comment, and then tap PostPost icon.
To like (or unlike) a friend's Facebook post
In addition to commenting on a Facebook post, you can choose to simply like one. You can also see how many other people like it.
On Start, tap People People tile, and then flick left or right to What's new to see recent posts from your friends.
When you see a post you like, tap Comments Comments icon, and then tap LikeLike icon.
If you change your mind, just tap UnlikeUnlike icon.
To check in on Facebook or Windows Live
When you check in to a place, you share your location with your contacts by posting it on one or more of your social networks. Your phone can find nearby locations, or you can add one yourself.
On Start, tap Me, and then tap Check in.
Tap a place in the list to check in from there. If you don't see your location, tap AddAdd icon, type the name of the place, and then tap SaveSave icon. To search for a nearby place, tap SearchSearch icon, type the name of the place, and then tap GoGo icon.
Once you've found the place you want to check in from, tap Post to, tap each account you want to check in on, and then tap DoneDone icon.
Type a message (optional), and then tap Post Check in icon.
To share a link from Internet Explorer
Instead of copying and pasting a web address from your browser, you can post the link to your social networks in a few taps, right from Internet Explorer.
On Start, tap Internet ExplorerInternet Explorer icon, and then navigate to a webpage.
Tap MoreMore icon, and then tap Share page.
Tap Social networks, tap Post to, and then tap each account you want to share the link with.
Type a message (optional), and then tap PostPost icon.
To reply to or retweet a Twitter update
Sometimes you like someone else's tweet so much that you want to share it with your own followers. You can retweet—and reply to tweets—from your phone.
On Start, tap People People tile, and then flick to What's new to see recent posts from your friends.
When you find a tweet you want to respond to, do one of the following:
To reply to a tweet, tap ReplyReply icon, type your message, and then tap PostPost icon.
To retweet, tap ReplyReply icon, tap RetweetRetweet icon, and then tap Retweet.
Tip
Flooded with updates? Try viewing one social network feed at a time. In What's new, tap All accounts, and then tap the account you want to see.
