Nothing wrong with excitement for the stadium or the season. UW should be a lot better....should be.... -
I am excited too but it isn't the same level as it was back in the day when expectations were actually high (not win 1 more game than last year... going to a Rose Bowl, being a top 5/10 team etc.).
I do feel like this team will be improved but I just don't see it being significantly better than prior seasons as it should be by now dumping all this money on coaching. If we only get 2 plunger rapes and win a mediocre bowl game it still isn't enough. -

I'm not as excited for this season as I normally am. I'm with you that we will be slightly improved, but we need a huge improvement to expect to win any of the four conference road games. Slightly improved isn't going to beat Oregon either. That's why the "shoulda been" 9 win season last year was fool's gold. It wouldn't have proven anything in the big scheme of things.
