Sounds like McKinley will be taking an OV to U-Dub

"According to reports, which TheDawgReport.com can verify, McKinley will be visiting Washington and it will be an official. It won't be his first time at the school, either. He has previously taken unofficial visits to Washington. His on-again, off-again relationship with Washington is not apparently due to any major cooling or a falling out.
McKinley has taken ample visits and has been all over the country, and that early travel exposed him to a lot more than some prospects see at that point on the calendar. As things have settled down again and McKinley has taken stock of the situation, a source said, some reflection has led to the conclusion that the earlier visits to Washington went well and it might be worth an official.
There's a chance his visits could be shuffled between now and the time he takes them but for now it looks like a visit to Montlake is in the works."
Reading between the lines, I'd guess that USC told him they are full at WR (especially if Tyler Vaughns is going to commit to them or is a secret commit).

Sark is NEVER full at WR.

Yes SC took a few SEC area guys at WR this cycle. Dylan Crawford and McKinnley would jump all over an SC offer, but Trojans are probably done after they take Vaughns. Oregon also seems to be WDWHA for Crawford and I believe McKinnley too.
Just my opinion - McKinnley seems like one of those players that would rather go to ND than stay out west for a UW or UCLA. I hate that when it happens. I don't get the appeal of ND for Californians these days. -
Annnnnndd.....Theo Howard just decommitted from the ducks. WR recruiting out west is going to be interesting. I think Broons and Doogs will default into a nice WR class.

Surprised by the Howard decommit. Didn't see that one coming, lots of moving parts now out west in WR recruiting.

I've said this for years, but when teams like SC recruit heavily out of their natural recruiting area, the result is that everybody else gets better around them by getting guys they normally wouldn't get. Definite trickle down effect.

We'll need to get a report from AZ Duck on Howard's shortcomingsCokeGreaterThanPepsi said:Surprised by the Howard decommit. Didn't see that one coming, lots of moving parts now out west in WR recruiting.

If he chooses to play for Sark, that's a shortcomingbananasnblondes said:

I completely understand the concept, but I don't really buy it as true. USC signing Mike Williams, Cushing, Keith Rivers, Dwayne Jarrett, Fred Davis, etc didn't make the rest of the conference better. If it did, it didn't matter. Oregon has recruited nationally and it hasn't seemed to benefit UW or anyone else. Should the Coogs and Beavs getting excited if UW signs a player from Texas?Tequilla said:I've said this for years, but when teams like SC recruit heavily out of their natural recruiting area, the result is that everybody else gets better around them by getting guys they normally wouldn't get. Yeah, but those kids are all national recruits that USC would be recruiting from California, so many of them have offers outside the Pac-12 and can go to schools like those in the SEC or Texas or Michigan or whatever.Tequilla said:I've said this for years, but when teams like SC recruit heavily out of their natural recruiting area, the result is that everybody else gets better around them by getting guys they normally wouldn't get.
