How come college players look like little kids now? Utah looks like a high school team. Time to hit the roids.
Looking at South Carolina's players is a sad reminder of how far the Huskies have to go. I miss the days when they gave a shit enough to do whatever it took to build.
We used to talk in our podcasts about coach speak.....I need players who will do whatever it takes.....you couldn't even make the scout team under James (rip) if you didn't " do what it takes"

I've had former players under James tell me stories of "Do what it takes" to gain weight.
I like that approach instead of spending time with IVAN!

Then you didn't spend enough time talking to them. There are two parts to doing what it takes, and one of them involves very hard work in the weight room.
Here's a baseball player who gets it.
And a football player who also gets it, but made a common early mistake that led to a little gyno issue

I'm sorry you missed the bigger point I was making which is they aren't doing jack shit in the weight room with IVAN! Given the flabby arms on our OL and DL.

I get that, but I think you're missing some bigger points. First, anyone who's played with these things understands that there is no gain without real hard work, and second, when a staff recruits the right kind of players and lays out clear expectations, players respond by driving themselves, they don't need a cheerleader in the weight room to drive them. Under those circumstances the strength and conditioning coach becomes a mentor and a facilitator.
Ivan probably gives our players the shitty supplements he sells, Advocare. Advocare is one of those shitty multi level marketing scams that try and sell supplements to fat soccer moms. In reality you can get similar shit at GNC for about half the price, but the douchebags at Advocare sell some bullshit about a lifestyle. I have had a guy try to sell me on this shit before at the gym.
I couldn't believe it when I found out Ivan was on the board for Advocare. I haven't been impressed with his work with our players. Other than Riva, Shaq and a couple others, most of our players look soft.

Maybe this is why UW sucks on the road
