I'd guess only a couple Million actual paying users at any point in time, with a fairly high churn rate (yes, I used to do analytics for a subscription based service). -
Saw this a bit ago... You can already find out who uses AshleyMadison by just searching for an email address in the forgot password section of the site.

I doubt many of their users, used their main email, most folks have a few burner emails for stuff like this.
