    We are used to guys like Victor sucking. It's awesome watching a player break out like he ha. He looks how a MLB should and he hits too. He crushes guys. He's probably been the best player on the defense so far. I don't remember anyone expecting that.

    Guys are just getting better, it's honestly strange to see for me.

    I think Petersen and his constant/consistent message of "improve each and every day" actually gets through to people once they are in the program and/or bought in. Not everyone can improve everyday, some reach their limit or some just don't buy into it or go all out with that. But if you hear that message everyday from the coaches like the players do, I think it gets engrained in them.
