Without the Beavers the Huskies have to be considered the favorite to land Eletise, given his relationship with Washington Head Coach Chris Petersen and offensive line coach Chris Strausser, along with the fact the family loves what UW is selling. Nofo Eletise is a pastor by profession in Honolulu and the Huskies Built For Life program and the moral emphasis is a huge point of emphasis.
Tuesday, Eletise told 247Sports Insider Luke Stampini, "They're [Washington] saying they really like me. They're really moral based and my parents are really into morals, so they're really excited about the school because the coach [Chris Petersen] has a strong code of conduct. They follow the rules and they discipline their kids so that's very important."
Originally it was supposed to be between UW and Oregon (Island kids dream of playing there because Mariota). He announced his top 10 and Oregon wasn't on it.
Then it was supposed to be between us and UCLA. He announces his top 5 and UCLA didn't make the cut.
I'm thinking we're looking pretty good here.
I'd love to see Petersen take back the Hawaii pipeline that Sark allowed Chimp Belly (lol) to commandeer during their respective stints at PNW schools (and yes, I hate Taz Stevensen and Shane Brostek)

I tend to think that the Arizona schools tend to cancel each other out.
Nebraska is a risk with Riley ... but it's in the middle of nowhere.
If I had to guess, I'd say it will come down to UW and ASU.
