IT'S NOT OVER FOR JORDAN

Chris Paul seeing his reputation disintegrate before his eyes has joined Do and Griff to fly to Houston to talk Jordan back to the Clippers.

Jordan has 29 million reasons to stay in LA. If he leaves he is FS to sign a 4 year deal like he agreed to with Dallas

Being a rich guy in LA >>>>> Dallas. I feel kind of bad for the Mavs though. Not that they would contend anyways, but they are fucked without Jordan.

If it is about money he should go to Dallas (no income tax + lower cost of living). He is also pretty close to Houston (where he is from). Also Dallas plays the Spurs and Rockets more often than any other teams on the road so he will have no income tax there as well.

The extra year or the extra % raise per year doesn't really matter as he will get an opt out clause so he will be a free agent again in two or three years once the cap (and the max contracts) go up significantly.

    I can't wait to see Cuban's reaction

Apparently the Clippers are having a slumber party at De'Andre's house and not letting him pick up the phone and talk to Cuban.

Then at 12:01 he can sign, and they can all go home.

Add the Clippers and Mavericks to the list of teams that need to be contracted.

#MyMavs are eternally fucked. Dirk and his one magical year is all I will ever see in my lifetime.

I think we should rate championships on a 0-10 scale. For example I would give the Warriors this year a 5. They beat Lebron, fun to watch, innovative offense and defense and never faced elimination are the positives. Love and Kyrie were hurt, didn't play the Spurs, Durant was hurt and still felt a little lucky with AI making a bunch shots everyone would let him take are the negatives. You could talk me into a 6.

That Mavs title was a 10 though. A fucking 10. I'd rather my team win a single 10 title than multiple lesser titles.

Any playoff run beating Portland since the 2000 season isn't tough. HTH

I know as a Blazer and Duck fan the early parts of the playoffs seem more important to you but the first round doesn't matter at all.

I'm not a huge NBA fan (obvious), but that run to the finals, and beating BronBron was epic. Who cares that they were the better team. Dirk had a Finals for the ages, and it was just cool as shit to see that TEAM win. But, I have realized after the Dwight Howard, Deron Williams, and now Jordan saga that #MyMavs are ALWAYS the bridesmaid on the top shelf FAs. They just don't want to play in Dallas for whatever reason. Media market, chances of winning going forward, playing for Cuban? I have no idea what it is, but this is three in a row we have been right there on, but ultimately whiffed. It's over. Was a nice run with Dirk. Two finals, lots of playoff runs, and won it all once. Beats being a Raptors fan I guess.

Since playing Portland in the first round was essentially a bye, then yes, it kind of is a big deal. And as a Husky, Sonic (rip), and Mariner fan you probably forgot what playoffs are.

    No mention of the Seahawks?
