For creating the 15th (out of 15) most valuable sports network in the US. It's a proud day when the next highest sports network is worth over double the Pac-12 network's net worth and the SEC network is 10x the net worth of the Pac-12 Network.
Only 12.3 million get the Pac 12 network. The next lowest on the list is 37.4 million. But how is Larry Scott a bad commissioner?
The Direct TV standoff was a huge mistake fueled by ego. That and the Real Housewives reruns directly compete with our friday afternoon games. No way that flies on the west coast.
It would behoove him to become partners with BSPN, Fox, CBS, or NBC at this point. They have the power and leverage to get into way more than 12,000,000 homes.

The bigger mistake was building an entire network on his own without partnering with ESPN or Fox, like the Big10 had done, and SEC did later. The SEC waited to see how that strategy would go for the Pac12, saw how big a disaster it was and then elected to copy the route followed by the Big10. Speaks volumes.

Sure everyone likes wearing Oregon shit because they win ... but nobody respects them.
It's like a sign from Allah.
