I really don't get it. I feel like I'm young enough to appreciate a "progressive" looking uniform, but the trends of the BCS era are terrible.
Blame it on Washington for handing the Northwest to Oregon. I wonder if Oregon was still getting its shit pushed in during the 2000s their costumes with wing flaps and logo gloves would have taken ahold nationally.
Still pretty basic. Wouldn't be upset if I was a Tennessee fan. That grey helment with the smokies is way better/less flamboyant than any Oregon helmet or some of the other abominations we are seeing.
Don't care if I'm in the minority but the Tennessee uniforms don't look that bad. What I find most humorous about the whole uniform deal is that adidas and Under Armour's attempts to out "Nike" Nike results mostly in awful looking shit. Maryland unis anyone? Hilarious.
Adidas is shit, but it pays double or triple what Nike does. For Tennessee that is chump change. For ucla or asu I guess it's a worthwhile trade off.
There's also some advantage in basketball with Adidas. They have a decent AAU network and deliver their players to a smaller pool of schools than Nike does.

Of course, our boys could wear pink tutus for all I care.

These are a big improvement over their old unis.
