Geezus.....I can't even imagine
-
The absolute worst in life because it goes against nature for a parent to outlive their kid.
-
That's so fucked.
-
T's and p's.
-
This is awful news.
DIPG is diagnosed in 300 people each year. Median survival after chemo seems to be less than a year.
I hope she's able to enjoy the rest of her life. -
I am truly feel for Brandon and his family.
life is cruel and unfair... Hopefully she can remain comfortable and happy. -
Well said, Chest. This is the worst nightmare for any parent.HeretoBeatmyChest said:The absolute worst in life because it goes against nature for a parent to outlive their kid.

Cruel and unfair indeed.
-
Fucking brutal. Breaks my goddamned heart. Poor girl. Innocent with a whole life supposed to be in front of her and it's taken away. Life is so fucked sometimes.
-
Unbelievably sad man. I can't even imagine being in that situation.
-
Absolutely terrible. My daughter is her age and I can't imagine how horrible it would be to get that news.

Should anyone want to donate to the Huffman family, here is the official link: http://www.gofundme.com/averyhuffman
Huffman was a longtime poster on the UCLA scout site before he became an employee of scout, so a lot of the UCLA site posters have been donating. I hear it's up to $35K in less than a day.
Awful awful news. Ts & Ps. -
There are few times in life where you feel helpless to do anything ... this is one of those times.
The only thing you can hope for at this point is for her to live as long as possible and to do so as pain free as possible. -
W. JW.
SUCKS.
On the positive side, this has always been one of my favorite, classy boreds.

As of this moment the figure raised is $49,524. Needless to say, cancer is expensive. My brother's wife passed away from ovarian cancer. The total bill was over $2 million. I'm sure a lot of us can give something here... -
I want to get really angry about this and destroy something over the unfairness of it. But, that would do nothing positive so I will sit here and weep for awhile.

For some reason when I read that post of his last night it really hit me strong. Haven't been able to shake it yet, just devastating and so unfair and final.

Despite all the shit we talk about scoot and TBS, the news hits too close to home.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:For some reason when I read that post of his last night it really hit me strong. Haven't been able to shake it yet, just devastating and so unfair and final.

Huffman has also always been one of the good guys and a professional at what he does (there are plenty under the Scout umbrella who are not). He and Biggins bust their assespawz said:

Hope you all posted t's and p's on Facebook.

Same here. This makes me ill.bananasnblondes said:Absolutely terrible. My daughter is her age and I can't imagine how horrible it would be to get that news.

I feel terrible about his daughter, but I disagree with this. The DeAnthony Thomas, change the landscape of the Pac 10 was Huffman's doing. Sad stuff though, and recruiting and whether he is good at his job is besides the point.bananasnblondes said:

Should have stopped there. If recruiting and whether he is good at his job is "besides" the point, why the fuck did you bring it up.RoadDawg55 said:

See the quote I responded to. I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I feel bad like everyone else does for Huffman. It's unfair for anyone to have to go through this.HuskyInAZ said:

Yes. We've got to support Brandon the best we can during this time. His family is constantly on my mind. I agree with you that he his one of the good guys in this business.
