There's really nothing else JZ can do except for hope some guys get hot.
It seems like Cano is slowly inching up and getting his timing back. At this point, I'd be happy for him to equal his worst season in MLB (2008) when he went .271 / .305 / .410.
Zunino is still struggling and I was disappointed JZ didn't trade someone else to get Trumbo (Castillo is going .275 / .339 / .588 in 14 games for Arizona, ouch). Castillo could've played 2 times a week and taken the pressure off Zunino but JZ continued to ride his guy.
Speaking of Trumbo, he isn't producing either and his .OBP is bad.
Ackley is still a bust even though he's swung the bat pretty well the last few games. He's D is good and I wish he would get hot but the odds are against it.

Cano is hitting .238 and is 0-10 the last three games. The season was over a long time ago. I think the Mariners are the worst team in the division.
Do you people understand why the Mariners need to LEAVE Seattle yet?
I've been on board for quite some time, Boobie. I said 70 wins before the season. The Ichiro poll doesn't surprise me. If they brought back Jay Buhner, Dan Wilson, Edgar, and Joey Cora, the Mariners could go 12-150 and still sell out games.
The Mariners are 35-42, a -46 run differential, and have allowed 306 runs on the season.
Oakland is 35-45, a +45 in run differential, and have allowed 311 runs on the season.
I'm definitely buying the A's passing the Mariners by the end of the season.
It wouldn't shock me if the Rangers fall back a bit though ... I'm still not buying them.
The Astros will be fine as long as their pitching keeps them afloat ... their bats though can torpedo them into an 8 game losing streak at anytime. Correa is a stud though.

Haha, maybe he came home to find Kevin Costner porking his wife and that has thrown him off his game:
