Not a fan of the whole Barton camp scam. Peddler of unrealistic dreams.
I kind of agree with you about Barton's camps, but really they just are a chance to work on your skills. That's the way they should be looked at. And it doesn't hurt to have more opportunities to get in front of college coaches. I blame unrealistic parents more than Barton's camps for being peddlers of unrealistic dreams.

Barton has always seemed exceptionally sleazy to me. And how much exposure does a kid get when they're put in a stalkyard (lolololoo!!!11) with 800 others.
The "Barton Camps" all depend on what it is that they are selling and providing ...
IF the premise of them is providing better coaching and working on skills that add onto the work that the kids are getting at the HS level (which is particularly true for the QB and related positions), then I have no problem with that. If the camp has the reputation for having strong enough talent in them that they have strong relationships with college coaches and they either show up or work at the camps (whatever is allowed), then all the better.
IF they are promising that showing up to the camp will earn them a college scholarship, then that is insanely FS and as Roadie mentioned, the parents are also insanely FS for believing that shit.

How the hell did that happen?
JetsFS is now rivaling HadenFS
