Multiple QB's will play this year. I don't think any of them will play well enough to grasp the job. Then again, Miley played like shit most of the year, and still started every game he was available.
I think we need to be a little cautious with the "good riddance" rhetoric. Even with the rag arm, the bum hip, the bad body language, and the rap sheet, Miles was still better than this year's presumptive starter.

I agree. I think Lindquist gets better and is somewhat serviceable and KJCS is right there with them. Still bottom 3rd of the P12 QBs but better than Miles (who I would say was the worst QB in the conference last year). I just doesn't seem like either guy can make the leap from running QB in high school to pocket passer at the college level. Especially not behind what is most likely going to be a shitty O Line.
I do like the CC QB we picked up. He actually seems to have some instincts of when to hang in the pocket and when to bail out. By no means does he have an amazing arm but he can make the short, intermediate and long throws and has good touch and can zip the ball in there when he needs to. I actually think he's our best shot to run a pro-style passing attack which is what JS seems to want to run.
All in all, the QB will still be shitty but should be better than last year. Looking at the numbers that Miles put up I think that some people might give him a bit too much credit for having a high completion percentage and a decent TD/int ratio but anyone who knows football knows that our passing attack was completely gutless last year. Defenses didn't have to respect Cyler's arm whatsoever and our offense suffered for it.
I think any of the QBs on our roster give us a better chance at running a more balanced offense than we could run last year. I'm not sure that translates to more wins but hopefully it contributes to an offense that isn't as frustrating to watch.
I can't think of a time when the starting QB sucked ape chode and wasn't replaced, but then DAO'd after the season. It's such a strange turn of events.
Plus adding the two JC guys?
Either Pete really knows what he's doing and he's a fucking wizard or he's the Joker and came here to destroy our program just to say he did.
I'd be lying if I didn't admit that either way it will be interesting.

Listen and for the last fucking time tommy shaw. Miles gave Peterlips the best chance to win. Who was he supposed to yank Cyrey for? Linda gave Peter 0 chance to win, hence the bench job after Hawaii.
Which is why I was the 1st to say 4 wins this year after Cyley pulleth the plug in spring, and The Kinco Killer took over. All of kimmy's genital danglers here attacked me, but soon realized I was right.
Ive said since the beginning of the football forum to steer clear of kinco /eastside football players, especially QB's. Lindquist is a disaster waiting to happen. Once times get tough, like on 3rd and 12, Lindquist will resort back to aiming at WR's feet and at players' not wearing purple.
