When he left UW to take the exact same job elsewhere Romar said it would "become clear very soon why he went back to ISU".
Apparently, serving as an assistant to the former Murray State coach is a highly respected position.
I have to wonder how many tapes of UW games got played during the hiring meetings with the comment "Wait, so we're going to hand the keys over to a guy coaching THIS??!! Isn't there anybody else?"
