Well this series is over

Brons getting 40 a night and Cavs still can't break 100 even in OT. This series is all about the physical team defense the Cavs are putting on, GS hasn't responded well at all. Their balls have shrunk. This meme sums up the series to me:
-
Even if Kyrie and Love were fully healthy, not sure they'd show better than what Dellavedova and Thompson have through 3 games. Definitely not on the defensive end, which is where the Cavs are really doing work.PurpleJ said:Cavs in 7. They sweep at full strength.

There is no question Cavs would be better with those two guys. Either way, the Warriors are embarrassing themselves as of now. Down 2-1 with homecourt to a team that is without two top 20 NBA players.BallSacked said:

The Cavs are less talented without Love and Irving, but the Cavs have their formula down. Elite defense and let LeBron control the game. There is no worrying about Love or Irving getting theirs.
I thought this series was where Love and Irving's absence would be felt. I didn't think Cleveland would score enough to beat the Warriors. So far, neither guy has been a huge loss. Tristan Thompson and Dellevedova have played great and are pretty big upgrades defensively. -
Cavs win rather easily tonight. Lebron knows that tonight is big because you don't want Golden State to be in position to where all they have to do is win 2 at home.
-
I'm pretty nervous about tonight. I agree with Tequila and actual experts that the winner tonight takes it all. You just get the feeling that if the Warriors get one they are on their way.
Whether it is getting tired or gagging, the way Cleveland finishes these games would make Sark proud.
Golden State acts like they are entitled to play their game but Cleveland won't let them. I see a different Lebron out there and I see a Curry that even after he went off looked lost. He backed down from Lebron in their little tiff.
I'm sticking with the Big Dog tonight.
-
Sports psychology at its finest watching the pregame handshake. LeBron was there big and bold and curry was quick glance, shake hands, and look to the floor.
They are scared of him. Can't wait to see what happens. Tonight is Game 7. -
Honda is picking the Warriors. Enough said on that.
I expect after the Cavs win it will have been a cold winter in Oakland. -
Don't buy the game 4=game 7 script.
But Cavs will win. Rather easily. -
There is no question Curry would rather have Kyrie guarding him then Dellavedova right now. Ditto for Draymond Green and Kevin Love. And that is the biggest factor for why GS has their backs up against the wall right now.NeedleInTheSky88 said:

I agree, winner tonight takes the series.
Vegas has Warriors as -3/-3.5. -
Saying the winner tonight will win the series is a real profile in courage.
-
Winner tonight will win the series.
-
The winner of the series will win tonight
-
Tonight's winner? Wins the series.
-
Disagree. The Warriors would be scoring more.NeedleInTheSky88 said:

Either tonight's winner will win the series or lose the series. Either way it will be interesting.
-
The series has been over since October.
-
I have to bump. Note to Ravenna: Don't overreact to one game if you haven't watched all season.

This is exactly what I was about to poast. The first two games were carbon copies of the Memphis series. Scrappy guard plays some great defense and the road team pulls an upset in game two (Tony Allen/Dellevedova), GS plays like crap in both games and looks like they don't have what it takes.RoadDawg55 said:The pace is a good point. Isolating LeBron slows the game down and limits Golden State's transition opportunities.
Golden State was #1 in defensive efficiency this season. Their defense isn't going anywhere. Curry went 5-23 and they lost in OT. Barnes and Green had under 10 in regulation. It's easy to see where they will get more in future games.
I could be wrong, but this is an overreaction. Golden State lost two games against Memphis in the same way and obliterated them the final 3.
Obviously the big difference here is Cleveland has LeBron and Memphis didn't, but Memphis had a legitimately great defense and GS torched them the final three games anyway. I don't think Cleveland's defense is as good as Memphis'. Bron will keep them from getting run off the court, but Cleveland just doesn't have the depth or the scorers it's going to neeed to win this series. Warriors still win it in 6.

I don't remember anyone saying they wouldn't be a playoff team but they won the fucking EAST. Not an accomplishment at all.RaceBannon said:Most of you Warrior honks were talking sweep at the start.

I'm just pointing out the moving goal posts nothing more.
