I have no idea what that number means.

It's a Nike standardized athlete rating that takes into account 40, shuttle, vert, and medicine ball throw...all electronically timed and normalized by height/weight.
Here were the scores last year: http://www.sbnation.com/college-football-recruiting/2014/7/8/5881543/2014-sparq-combine-results-the-opening
That score would have been 9th nationally across all positions at the opening last year. Impressive. -
I think it's a Sparq rating. I'm not exactly sure how it's calculated, but it tests a player's 40, shuttle, VJ, broad jump, and maybe a few other tests than comes up with a score. Height and weight is calculated somewhere in there as well. Sorry for the shitty explanation.GrundleStiltzkin said:I have no idea what that number means.

All I know is that the Seahawks LOVE Sparq, their drafts are often dictated by Sparq scores as they feel it's a great indicator for athleticism. It doesn't make much sense to me otherwise, but it seems to work in figuring out overall athleticism.
Either way, McGrew is fast. -
Is it that FREAKING hard to put this on a scale that has intuitive meaning?!?! Christ.RoadDawg55 said:

Apparently above 130 is really good. -
The scale goes from 0 to 100.Dennis_DeYoung said:

McGrew got a 132.
That should tell you how good he is. -
