I saw the start of the pole going and immediately closed browser.
When I was about 9, my 9 year old neighbor and I were jumping from the sidewalk into these shrubs. The sidewalk was at least 3-4 higher than the ground on which the shrubs sat. Unbeknownst to us, there were a couple of green metal fence posts in the shrubs.
On our final jump I hear John scream in pain. He landed on a fence post and impaled himself on his inner thigh, about 2-3 inches from his nutsack. I had to pull him off of the post and carry him 1/2 block back home and then left him there while he called his parents.
That memory scares the shit out of me when I think about it.

I dodged many a bullet and injury BITD. My older brother? No so lucky. In fact, he hurt himself constantly and frequently came home bleeding from some form of impaling, a few times with the stick or plywood sliver still sticking out of his arm, leg, hip or whatever.

Because he wouldn’t let me touch his nutsack.
