the only comment I want to add is that you should keep in mind that the "team is young" excuse is rolled out EVERY MOTHERFUCKING YEAR SINCE THE START OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL. If you want experience, go to a pro football game, see a 37 year old like Brady. If you go to CFB, the guys are young. They are supposed to be young. Stop with the fucking team is young excuse. The next person who uses that fucking hoary chestnut should jump on that stack of burning tires.

YBMFE
YBMFE what?
I thought about this some more.... really if a guy has one solid year in the program he is from then on a veteran. But the first year would be "young." After that I don't want to hear young.
Fucking Arizona won the South last year and I don't remember anyone being optimistic about their o line or quarterback play going into the season. This team doesn't need to be amazing but by the end of the season they need to a top team in the league. Blowing out the beavs and cougs after shitty conference play won't cut it in year 2, for me anyways.

If the Pac-12 is the dreckfest most of us proclaim it to be, then good coaching should wrangle up 7-8 wins, even from a talent-deficient team.
Pac12 football isn't a deckfest (basketball is dreck as fuck). Outside of SEC there isn't a more competitive conference top to bottom.
Pre-emptive: Eat a dick Sven, you too Race. Miserable fucks.
Hi. The conference was Oregon and 11 dwarves last year. Of course the 11 dwarves could compete with each other.
remember, you heard it here first...
Upset Special: Mike Leach and the cuogs will "almost beat" Oregon for the second year in a row. Cuogs will rejoice while Moos will raise and extend Leach.

The TCU model very well may be the path that UW takes ... struggle without QB play for 2 years, question whether the coach knows what he is doing, talent and depth gets built up while eventually the QB play catches itself up ...
The 2nd half of the year will be better than the first half ... first half could be ugly
But how is 7-win-steve a good QB coach and recruiter of QB talent??
