The only purpose to the wonderlic is to make sure you aren't drafting a complete moron. For instance, if either scored a 15, then there's concern. Anybody with at least a 20 is pretty much acceptable.

Quite frankly, this test was more important to mariota. Winston already played in a pro style offense, while mariota needed to show he has the capacity to absorb a different system altogether.

27 for Winston is better than I expected. Hell 33 is better than I expected for Mariota.

Of course, Jonny Manziel scored well on the Wonderlic and he's dumb as hell, so this all probably means nothing.
