We will have an OL we can be proud of before 2018

In much the same vein, I will have sex with the entire crop of Ms. Universe contestants on the floor of the United Nations while Beyonce showers me with hundreds of thousands of dollars before 2018.

We're just saying things that we hope is true but have no evidence will ever happen, right?
Knowing you're gay, I stopped reading after "I will have sex with the entire crop of Ms." And assumed the baseball team.

    You go girl!

We had a strong OL class in the recently signed class. 2018 puts them as RS Juniors. I would be shocked if it took them THAT long to be good. This year is going to suck ... next year will have some growing pains ... 2017 is when I expect them to be good.

You forget how shitty the pac-12 line play is, they should be able to get coached up well before then

Are people sure Coleman Shelton is moving to Center?

Shelton could easily be 290 lbs by fall, played in 13 games at RT and started 7 of them. Matt James is likely a year away and McGary is probably physically ready at 6-7 292 lbs. but may not have his technique down.

Basically if Shelton moves to back-up Tufunga, who starts at RT?

I saw him practicing at center during the off-season, so it was happening. He could obviously play RT, but I think they want him at C now.

Honolulu (Hawaii) Kaiser offensive lineman Michael Eletise did not get a ton of reps on Wednesday but the 6-foot-4, 313-pound guard from Hawaii made the most of his. Eletise was easily the most physical lineman on the day, throwing Antwuan Jackson to the ground on one rep. He keeps his feet moving on the interior and gets a great initial punch to not let the defender into his body.
Jesus Christ my husky football blueballs have been swelling the majority of my life. Be merciful o lord of orgasmic release and let me witness a real team before I die.

I came just from reading this.

Maybe it was just to get some reps?

It would be kind of strange to see a RS-Soph who started 7 games last @ RT year moved to being a back-up C...he is coming off shoulder surgery so maybe he won't be able to play much at the start of the season anyway and they'd rather have him take over at C as a RS-JR in 2016.

Also maybe James or McGary will make a huge jump and be able to start as a RS-Frosh at RT. I know the staff is pretty high on James.

He was practicing at C before getting hurt (this was before spring ball). I think they'd slide Tufunga over to guard in this case.

You may be right, that they were just getting reps for him, but it didn't seem like that to me. And yes, the staff really likes James.

Brostek could easily get bumped. Players move positions on the OL all the time.

Just because you're getting reps doesn't mean you're moving there full time. I could see him starting at RT and Tufunga start at C but have Shelton be back up C because he's better than every other C on the team. Like, if Tufunga gets hurt, they'll slide Shelton into C and have someone else move to RT rather than someone else at C (meaning they feel more comfortable with the depth at RT than C).

    Back to Eletise...

Cut his list down to 5: UW, ASU, UA, Nebraska, Ole Miss

Watched a Biggins video interview with him.

Friends dad is a coach at Nebraska, likes ASU OL coach bc he's a Christian. Then said he liked UW because the coaches have good morals and he likes the focus on academics. Also said something to the order of you can't fool around and have to stay focused. He probably likes UA bc they do have the Poly connection.

Frankly, a bizarre set of choices given what he said. Petersen has proven he can close and given what he said in the interview and the list of choices I think we are the favorite.

We also have him to thank for improved OL recruiting and talent development

Someone needs to get the Petersen cardboard cutout to his announcement.
