    I played golf with Gary Barta at a UW coaches golf tour back in the day. Also played with Greg Metcalf, the track/cross country coach. One was a winner, one wasn't. No comment.

    They're in Iowa City, Iowa. Those fans are lying, they aren't giving up football...there's nothing else to do there.

    I've posted this info before, but...
    Hayden Fry was 143–89–6 at Iowa
    Ferentz is 115–85 at Iowa

    Ferentz isn't that bad compared to Iowa's "Don James". Iowa has always been just slightly above mediocre.

    Kerentz' contract is why he hasn't been fired. Whoever gave that to him really fucked up. His buyout has been really expensive. As the years go by the buyout isn't as bad. He could be selling the couch if he has a shitty season in 2015.
