Well I got another important announcement right here at Hardcore Husky.
Jerry Brewer was a dumbass who didn't give a shit about U-Dub Football.
From Dec. 4, 2007 when Willingham's job was on the line:
Washington hired Willingham because he’s a steady, righteous disciplinarian, the kind of man who could rescue the program from its controversial recent history.
Of course, three years later, fans forgot that.
Unless Chicken Little now reigns on Montlake, Willingham will return for a fourth season. Why? Because it’s the right decision.
From Sept. 29, 2008 when UW was 0-4 to start the 4th season Brewer insisted Willingham deserved:
Criticize Willingham for all the losses, but you cannot discredit his desire to coach his players the best way he knows. Even though he’s an unofficial lame duck, he’ll manage this team with the same energy he would if he’d just signed a new five-year deal.
