Mark Few just reached his 5th Sweet 16 in 16 trips to the Tourney. He made it his first two years which led to lazy media types claiming he always made the Sweet 16 despite missing for 6 of the next 8 years. He then missed 5 straight years before this year. He's never made it past the Sweet 16, just like the Huskies under Bender and Romar and Harshman.

But he's great, everybody says so

What happens if/when he makes the Elite 8 this year?

I'd take the last 20 years of Gonzaggot basketball over the Hussies.

Is Gonzaga capable of much more than an elite 8 or final four? I dont think so.

A Kentucky or Duke or UNC or Kansas or abundance will always be there waiting for them and always kick their ass. Best they can hope for is a 1984 Villanova like miracle. Hope is not a strategy Barrack Obannon.

Few seems to have that program operating consistently near its potential, Plus/minus a game or two in the tourney...does it really fucking matter?

I'm old enough to remember when Oregon State had a men's basketball program.

Shit, your women can't even beat Gonzaga's women at home.

Those Chris Welp / Jose Ortiz battles were awesome.
