Exhibit A of why CBB Sucks

Arkie 12
Georgia 10

6:49 left in the first half

So there's a good chance at least one, or both teams won't hit 50 points.

And the TV ratings are probably double what any Pac 12 Tournament game got.

I haven't even watched a minute of a Pac 12 tournament game. It seems like the games are all on the Pac 12 Network. The championship game is on at 11pm Eastern. But how does Larry Scott's TV contract suck?

Sucks for you ... Walton has been on fire each of the last 2 nights.

    Agreed.

He toned it down for UCLA/AZ (at least when I watched) unfortunately. That U of A fag who started the petition to ban him from their games must have gotten to him or Pac 12 Net.

Seriously though, scoring and points per possession are really low. The game is literally regressing to the 50s and 60s. It sucks. I watched a little of a Duke/Syracuse game from 1989 on ESPNC. It was much more entertaining.

When the game is worth Walton being serious for, he'll be serious. When the game turns into a 20 point blow out, nobody is still watching the game for the sake of the game.

I hear that the UCLA Arizona game last night was a really good game ... but since Larry Scott decided that creating a regional sports network without getting the largest satellite provider (particularly when it comes to sports) on board first ... most people didn't watch the game.

This. I saw that UCLA was ahead so I wanted to watch it. I saw it was on the Pac 12 network and I didn't want to watch it enough to get a stream from my computer. It's ridiculous that only the championship game for the Pac 12 is on ESPN. And it's on at 11 Eastern when nobody will watch.

Meanwhile, almost every ACC, Big 12, and Big 10 game has been on ESPN or CBS.

I think BSPN had the late gaymes Thursday and Friday too, but the point stands. Nobody in the Eastern time zone watched.

Time to bring the shot clock down to at least 30. Also enforce the bumping that occurs on every play. The NBA had this problem and games were turning into defensive slugfests in the 70 and 80 point range. Now there is virtually no tolerance for hand checking, bumping, etc and the scoring is up. The amount of space between players with the ball and those on defense in college and NBA is huge.
