I like to draw up inbounds plays for a guy that has attempted 6 FT all year and has NEVER had to take pressure FTs at this level ... Only RomarFS thinks that THAT is a good idea
The genius that is Romar calls a timeout so he can inbound to a walkon freshman for a 1and1 who's probably shitting his pants and can't play any defense on the following possession to give up the game winner. Feel sorry for the kid he was even put in that position.
Disagree with all the talk about pressure free throws. Not the ideal guy to inbound to, but he's a good enough shooter not to shit his pants on the line. Was he feeling pressure when he was draining 3s?

You should probably sit this one out
It's game 1 of the Pac-12 tournament against a team they have played multiple times and their season is meaningless. It's not the fucking final four.

And he has NEVER been in that position at this level ...
Good coaching is putting guys into a position to be successful - that's not a great situation to put a kid in.

I said he wasn't the ideal guy to get the ball to, but let's not act like he's incapable of making a free throw. If I was hot from 3 all game I'd be feeling pretty good about myself at the line, no matter what point of the game it was.
Btw, this has nothing to do with defending Romar. This has more to do with making excuses for missing free throws.

First time I've ever seen a team go an entire game without making a single free throw
