at the combine. As I suspected, overrated. He was nowhere to be found the last 4-5 games of the year.

4.64 40 time...only finished in the top 15 in one LB drill. 6ft 228........people were saying he could be Cam Chancellor, that is insane.

He got a ton of hype for scoring all those defensive TDs and for playing on both ways. He could probably have used another year in college.

I remember when you bashed the coaches for not moving him to safety in the middle of the year.

He did get moved to safety for a few games, I never saw him as a LB only as a safety. I thought Shaq was a good player, I don't think he matched the hype and I mentioned several times he disappeared at the end of the year and tackled poorly.

he went to the combine saying he would only do defensive drills. he ended up doing some RB drills too I read somewhere. i think he sees the writing on the wall that his $$ value is at rb.

I'm with you. I think RB is his best position. He could probably drop 5-10 pounds if he played RB too and gain a little quickness. The question would be how he compares to Melvin Gordon and Gurley at RB. The third or fourth best RB is probably lasting until the 2nd or 3rd round.

I wouldn't want my team spending a first round pick on him. I think a team will fall in love with him and do it. They will see an athletic player who can play both LB and safety and should provide good coverage for a LB. Without the TD's this year, he was underwhelming at UW. While he deserved a lot of praise for those TD's, I'm not sure if he can replicate that in the NFL.
