If Romar knows how to do anything, it's produce Slam Dunk Champions.

What was the FS reason we didn't recruit him? I remember someone saying we were on bigger fish.

Levine sucked at UCLA. He sucks in the NBA. No loss whatsoever.

This. The NBA dunk contest sucks just for inviting guys like him.

Far as I'm concerned, the NBA is completely unwatchable. I don't know, and don't care, how good an NBA player DeLaVine is. But show me a local kid who's talented enough to be a one-and-done #13 pick, and I'll show you a player UW should recruit.

Because local players are never wildly overdrafted around here:

UW was in on bigger fish like Darin Johnson and Jahmel Taylor that year.

Romar recruited him. When he brought in his alleged "cousin" Mark McLaughlin there were rumors UW was the frontrunner for Lavine. After McLaughlin *shockingly* got the boot, Lavine was no longer interested.

It does look like Romar wanted NWG much more than he wanted Lavine.

    Troll fail.

Please to be explaining how DeLaVine wouldn't help last year's team.

Really doubt Lavine was coming here. My cousin went to school with him since Jr. High and said he's always been a huge UCLA fan. Think it traces back to his dad.

I never blame the kids for picking their childhood favorite.
