So having a federal funds rate of 0% is a good thing?

And why do you make it sound like growing the economy and balancing the budget are opposing concepts? That's pretty FS....

I didn't say it was a good thing. Nor did I say that a balanced budget and a growing economy were mutually exclusive (see the 1990s).

Here's the thing on interest rates. They slowly need to be moved up for a couple reasons. One, the value of our dollar is still low compared to where it was 15 years ago, and increasing the interest rate will help up the value if the dollar. And two, banks needed the 4% spread (typically 2%) to encourage lending and increase their capitalization.

So, you gonna answer the question? What's your growth and balancing the budget plan?

I see the gurgling is strong tonight...

Truly bizarre explanation of interest rates, but I'll keep it simple. They need to slowly move up? The recession "ended" in 2009. It's 2015...*gurgle*...

I gave a long list of some of the FS things done by your favorite slurpee...yet you keep asking the question. Too busy *gurgling* I guess...

Figured you wouldn't understand that point. Or answer the question.

I think it's the syllable issue you mentioned.
