I've been lurking around this board for a couple of months and I just wanted to thank the founders of Hardcore Husky for developing a forum that lends to an honest discussion of Husky Football. As a life-time fan I remember well how great it was to see the Dawgs as a perennial power with a packed Husky Stadium every home game, a place opponents used to hate.

It's hard to swallow the garbage you read and hear from discussions with the doogs, who fall all over themselves to make excuses for a program that is mired in mediocrity. I refuse to accept this sort of miserable ridiculousness from insufferable twats. Husky Football can be great again, as long as there are enough strong-willed fans left around to kick this university in the ass and whack it alongside the head. They are sitting on a potential gold mine but just need to be led (dragged) along the correct path.

When it comes to lurking, I still sense the ghostly shadows of football destruction past in every nook and cranny of shiny new Husky Stadium. While the luxury suites, theater seats, open concourses, and gourmet concessions are new and fancy, the mediocrity in Husky Football continues to get very old. I and I know all of Tailgater's crew and friends are anxiously hoping for some kind of resurrection on August 31. However, miracles in football, especially with the Husky variety, have usually always come from hard work and great coaching........ none of which will rub-off with the new paint.
