37-18 rebounding advantage for Cal. UW is having their best shooting game of the season. 53% and 8-17 from 3 and they are still are likely going to lose. Upshaw's stock might end up rising if scouts watch this UW team (I'm kidding Thomas).
I've been watching the past five minutes and this game is more proof Romar is a fucking idiot. We should have been playing four guards and Upshaw all season. Press more and speed up the game.
I caught some of the game. Losing Upshaw probably dropped them from a top 3 pac-12 defensive team to a bottom 3 pac-12 defensive team, that's how big a difference maker he was

There isn't any probably about it. You're spot on. UW is in a lot of trouble when you look at how many things that went right in the CAL game.
Home game 15/7 - Assist to TO ratio 42% from 3 53% from the field 8 steals off 14 TO's for CAL
Everything about the above numbers equate to a win. Then rebounding rears its ugly head. 38 to 22, including 8/3 in offensive rebounding to CaL. Add the fact that Upshaw was near 5 blocks per game and UW only garnered 3 in the game shows how much he causes issues in the middle of the key. The actual block total still doesn't show how much he effects other teams decision to attack the rim as well.
Going forward I don't see a way for UW to stay in many games. Defensively our guards still get lit up one on one but they used to have Upshaw to keep people from going to the rim. Now, they have kemp? Gonna get ugly the rest of the season.
And whomever said that you're pissed Romar wasn't playing 4 guards and upshaw, DITTO.

Can we just choose to not play the rest of the year?
You know, the things that actually make teams win games. Keep your fucking man in front of you.
Goss was great. Just good enough to lose.
Congrats @RoadDawg55. Them are some pretty big hitters you just sailed on by.
