How did the Pats get blount?
When the Steelers cut him it was back in November when a ton of teams were still in the playoff hunt. Many with obvious holes at RB. Does the NFL have any sort of pecking order when picking up a player who was currently on a roster and cut?
Just seems odd NE would get first crack to sign this guy if there were rules in place.

Yes, he had to make it through waivers based on records, so New England was very late in the pecking order.
Nobody wanted him. He's mostly sucked in his career and had just quit on his team. -
