It's like this: USC is cocky and annoying, but they're like old money. They at least have tradition. Oregon are annoying noveaux riche clowns who haven't been there.

I laugh at SC when they're down, but they'll be back no matter what and they're preferable to whOregon.

$C are the old money snobs in Laurelhurst and Windemere who don't give a shit what you think.

Oregon are the annoying Queen Anne fags like Chatch who tore down the perfectly fine 2,200 sq. ft. 1930 home to build an ugly monstrosity duplex looking thing. They desperately want everyone to know how great they are, but they really haven't hit the big time yet.

You're starting to sound like your Alabama brother Cletus, Bill

Big time: 2 National Championship games in 5 years. If that's not big time than what is?

Old money. Noveaux riche. Tradition. I'm waiting for someone to define this word 'tradition.' Playing stupid music and worshiping dead coaches doesn't translate into wins. SEC hillbilly clown post of the month.

the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way.

    HTH you dumb fuck.

Right now Oregon's tradition is a bunch of journalism majors waiting at the airport to exclaim how much they still love their Ducks.

And your tradition is losing to Oregon 11 straight years and counting. Now light yourself on fire.

The Seahawks used to own their division in the mid 2000's and made it to the superbowl. They had no Lombardi to show for it. Is that really tradition? Well, fans didn't really give a fuck about them so I'd argue no. Then the hawks went on to crush everyone en route to a superbowl title, which is basically the NFL's version of an undefeated season. Now Pete's balls are never dry. Now there's tradition.

Quooks don't seem to understand this distinction.

Quooks don't give a shit about the Seahawks and their shyster coach Pete Carroll. HTH. Go Pats.

LOL 11 year streak over CalDub. That's some major bragging rights right there. The rest of the country was really impressed with your community college's 5 year plan to another natty embarrassment.

I love Pellum's dumbass following Petersen all over the NW for recruits though. You guys have some real innovators down there in Methville.

You're the Thermos Thomas/Kelly/Smith/Reed Buffalo Bills. They never won a Super Bowl. I'll admit: 1994 wasn't yesterday anymore. Oregon has been an upper half Pac Ten team for 20 years now. You won't be a top ten team for long with Helfrich though.

Oregon is the opposite of tradition. 7,000,000 uniforms, six colors, begging for attention. I see people who have probably never stepped foot in the state wearing their gear. One guy said he just liked the hat. ROFLMAO. In two years those people will wear Florida State gear. Ask some people over 40 about Oregon in the 80s and 70s. It sucked.

Ducks have spent an exponential amount of money on football compared to the coogs, with advantages that get them much better talent than coog dreck players, and still have the same number of natties. Helfrich is a taller midget than Leach though, I'll give you that.

Tl, dr: You need to actually win the big ones to build tradition.
